The 20-year-old actress, wearing sunglasses and a long-sleeved sweatshirt, appeared to be avoiding photographers and was escorted quickly through the airport surrounded by guards.
Stewart is expected back on the Vancouver set of the last film in the 'Twilight' saga, 'Breaking Dawn' next week to resume filming. The injury isn't expected to hinder filming.
No cause or explanation has been given for her cast but if Stewart injured it at work, it wouldn't be the first time she was injured while filming. At press conference in 2010, Stewart said she was heavily bruised while shooting 'Welcome to the Rileys' in which she portrayed a stripper.
"I got the bruises initially in rehearsal. I learned how to pole dance (Who would of thought "Pole Dancing" would be so Dangerous?), even though you don't really see it in the movie. You do for a second; it's like in silhouette in the background," she recalled. "I'm just laying that down. But it really hurts, and you don't realize that of course it's gonna show."
