Is Lady Gaga going country? Well "ya darn tutin she izzz...". The pop queen released a country version of her hit, 'Born This Way' via Twitter.

Is Lindsay Lohan So Embarased by Her Fathers Antics, She's Dropping Her Last Name?

Lindsay LohanTired of Lindsay Lohan? Well so is Lindsay Lohan, apparently. Mother Dina Lohan has said that her trouble-courting daughter "is dropping the Lohan and just going by" her first name. Like Madonna, Britney, Oprah, Paris, and Jesus!

Black Swan' Double: Hattin' on Natalie Portman

The professional dancer who worked as Natalie Portman's dance double for the Academy Award-nominated film, 'Black Swan,' is claiming she's the victim of a "cover-up," Entertainment Weekly reports. The ballerina told the magazine the film and its producers are misleading the public about how much dancing Portman actually did in the movie. (Sounds like a lil' jealousy brewing)

"Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie," says Sarah Lane, 27, an American Ballet Theatre soloist. "All the other shots are me." Lane performed most of the film's complicated dance sequences and allowed Portman's face to be digitally grafted onto her body.

In a L.A. Times article published earlier this week, Portman's fiancé and 'Black Swan' choreographer Benjamin Millepied said otherwise. "There are articles now talking about her dance double [Lane] that are making it sound like [she] did a lot of the work, but really, she just did the footwork, and the fouettés, and one diagonal [phrase] in the studio," he said. "Honestly, 85 percent of that movie is Natalie."

But Lane doesn't agree. "The shots that are just her face with arms, those shots are definitely Natalie," she said. "But that doesn't show the actual dancing."

Lane confessed she was never promised specific billing for her role but was disappointed to see herself barely credited: she is only acknowledged as "Hand Model," "Stunt Double," and "Lady in the Lane" (a brief walk-on role).

One of Lane's most blabber mouth moments was that 'Black Swan' producer Ari Handel asked her not to talk about her work to the press. "They wanted to create this idea in people's minds that Natalie was some kind of prodigy or so gifted in dance and really worked so hard to make herself a ballerina in a year and a half for the movie, basically because of the Oscar," Lane said.

"It is demeaning to the profession and not just to me. I've been doing this for 22 years.... Can you become a concert pianist in a year and a half, even if you're a movie star?"

To her credit, Portman never hid the fact she had a double. "I do have a double for the complicated turning stuff," Portman told press last year. "It was not anything I ever could have done in a year, nothing I could've caught up with. But I think it was just better for all of us if I did as much as possible." So come on Sarah what is the real reason for you telling everyone this "Shhhhhhh info". You did a job you signed a contract you got a check in a Oscar winning movie.

Bret Michaels to Sue Tony Awards

Bret Michaels blames the Tony Awards for causing the brain hemorrhage that nearly killed him after he was whacked in the head by a piece of scenery while performing on the show in 2009.

Michaels has filed a lawsuit against Tony Award Productions, CBS and others  blaming producers for not instructing him on how to safely exit the stage after his performance was over because while he tried to exit, he was "smacked" in the face by a piece of the set.

Michaels claims he had to be hospitalized for a broken nose and a cut lip.  Six months after the awards, Bret nearly died from a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage. Michaels insists it was NO coincidence.

In his suit, Michaels claims, "One of the most common causes of this type of hemorrhage is head trauma ummmm like the one Michaels suffered at  the Tony Awards." Michaels notes, "Through his sheer will to live, to see his children grow up, [he] was able to survive this trauma."

Bret says producers have "failed and refused" to remedy the situation and even blamed him for the mishap at the Tony Awards, claiming he "missed his mark." Michaels is suing for unspecified damages. A rep for the Tonys had no comment.

May 25th THE LAST DAY OF OPRAH's SHOW!

Say it ain't so...even though we knew the day was coming. The final original episode of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' will air Wednesday, May 25, the Associated Press reported. The talk show host's production company, Harpo Productions, confirmed the date Friday. No word on who will be on the show.

Though the show has been in reruns the past few weeks, Winfrey Tweeted on Thursday that she was "hard at work planning the final shows." She also said new episodes would begin airing April 7.

Winfrey shared her decision to end her show after 25 years with viewers last November. It was prayer and careful thought that helped her decide, she said. "I love this show. This show has been my life. And I know when it's time to say goodbye. Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and feels right in my spirit."

After her final show, Winfrey will turn her focus and attention to her new cable network, OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network.)

OWN launched Jan. 1, and the network's programming slate serves up a potluck stew of stars -- everyone from Black Eyed Peas maestro will.i.am (who contributes the single 'Own It' as a network anthem), Wynonna Judd and her mama Naomi (starring in the original OWN series 'The Judds'), Fergie, the fallen Duchess of York ('Finding Sarah'), Carson Kressley, Nancy O'Dell, Suze Orman, Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil McGraw and more. Plus: lots of hugs, makeovers and learning.

SECRES BRITNEY PERFORMANCE TONIGHT!...Well It's No Secret Anymore

Britney Spears is headed to Las Vegas Friday to perform a mini concert at Palms Casino Resort's Rain Nightclub, which will be filmed for an upcoming MTV special.

Spears, 29, blasted on Twitter Friday morning to confirm the rumors that she'll indeed be onstage in Las Vegas. "Looks like my little secret isn't a secret anymore," Spears Tweeted, before asking who of her more than 7 million Twitter followers will be attending. "You're all invited. Be there or be square bitch!"

Hotel and nightclub executives have been tightlipped about what the show will entail (but is anything a secret anymore), Spears will take to the stage twice Friday – once at 8 p.m. in a ticketed event, then again at midnight for a performance that will be open to the public. The appearance in Vegas comes just days before the release of Spear's new studio album, Femme Fatale, which will debut Tuesday.

Feud Alert! Kirstie Alley Smites "Big Bad Drunk Wolf" George Lopez After Piggy Comment

Kirstie Alley Twitter

Is someone sore that he isn't dancing with the stars this season?

A day after George Lopez poked so-called fun at the latest crop of contestants and invoked the "this little piggy" nursery rhyme when talking about Kirstie Alley, the actress doesn't appear to be taking the late-night host's unconstructive criticism to heart. In fact, she laughed in the face of his mean-spirited slam.

Will Ferrell On 'The Office': Replacing Steve Carell, Guest Starring In Four Episode Arc

Ferrell, a long-time friend and co-star of Carell -- the two featured together in 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy' will join the workplace comedy for a four episode arc near the end of this season, Deadline.com reports.

Carell's Emmy-winning time on 'The Office' is winding down, and the show has been waiting to reveal his replacement at Dunder Mifflin. Ferrell will play a branch manager that comes in as Carell's Michael Scott begins leaving, and will take over for at least one episode.

"We are proud to continue The Office's tradition of discovering famous talent," 'The Office' show runner Paul Lieberstein (who plays Toby on the show) said, "and we hope that once America gets a good look at Will, they'll see what we see, tremendous raw sexuality."

Ferrell and Carell's careers often intertwine: Carell tried out for 'Saturday Night Live,' claiming he lost out to Farrell, and they starred together in 2005's 'Bewitched.'

UPDATE: **SPOILER ALERT** Ferrell's addition was announced on television in a promo for the show's next episode, airing April 14th. Carell's Michael Scott laid the groundwork for his exit, proposing to girlfriend/co-worker Holly and announcing that they were moving to Colorado. Carell's last episode will air on April 28th.

"No one can replace [Carell]. That goes for him as an actor, because no one has the sense of humor he does, but also there's no person who has his incredible positivity and professionalism, and just a really good heart. So we're losing a friend first and foremost."

In addition to Ferrell, the show's season finale will have two other major guest stars; series creator -- and British series boss -- Ricky Gervais, and Will Arnett.

Chris Brown Apologizes for GMA Freakout

Story photo: Chris Brown Apologizes for GMA Freakout
The temperamental R&B singer, 21, is sorry for his backstage tantrum on Good Morning America, which followed a tense, Rihanna-question-dodging chat with Robin Roberts on-air.

A contrite Brown, who is still on probation for his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, spoke up about the incident during a Wednesday appearance on the BET video show 106 and Park.

"First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and [was] disappointed at my actions," said Brown, who reportedly trashed his dressing room and smashed a window, moving GMA's hair and makeup personnel to call security. "Because I'm disappointed in the way I acted."

GMA host Roberts isn't holding a grudge for the tense chat. On Wednesday, she said on-air that she was "shocked like everybody else," by how things turned out. She and Brown "have had a wonderful relationship," she added. "We'd love to have him back."

Lindsay Lohan is Going to Trail

Lindsay met with her lawyer, Shawn Holley Tuesday afternoon.  Holley laid out the options but left the decision to Lindsay, who said she's firm about her innocence and wants to push it to the wall at trial.

Lindsay's felony grand theft case will now be assigned to Judge Stephanie Sautner who is considered a tough but fair judge and the preliminary hearing is set for April 22.

Lindsay faces both jail and prison as the case moves on jail,  if Judge Sautner decides Lindsay violated her probation, and prison, if Lindsay is convicted of grand theft.

We have been saying Lindsay was crazy not to accept the plea deal, not because she'd be found guilty of grand theft ... but the way the system is set up, Lindsay could be thrown in jail for the probation violation before her grand theft trial.

Here's the good news for Lindsay.  If she had accepted a plea deal, she would have been placed on 3 years probation. Lindsay has a credible defense in the grand theft case, and if Judge Sautner agrees NOT to rule on the probation violation until a verdict is reached in the grand theft case, Lindsay could get off with no time served.

Sheen Comin' Back to 'Men' Ehhhh, Not So Much!

There is "no chance" of Charlie Sheen coming back to "Two and a Half Men" according to sources connected to the production of the show.

A story has been circulating that CBS wants Charlie back on the show.Ok so Charlie was hired by Warner Bros. and, Only Warner Bros. can bring him back, and sources (the guys or girls who know everything) directly connected to the production tell us there is "no chance" of that happening.

"Men" creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre has been holding meetings about the future of the show and possible re-casting, but Charlie is NOT COMING BACK.

The story that CBS offered him his job back is simply not true.  CBS can't rehire Sheen....

Still developing!

Film legend Elizabeth Taylor dies at 79

LOS ANGELES - Screen legend Elizabeth Taylor, film goddess died Wednesday at age 79.

She died of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she had been hospitalized for about six weeks, publicist Sally Morrison said.

"All her children were with her," Morrison said.

Taylor had extraordinary grace, fame and wealth, and won three Oscars, including a special one for her humanitarian work. But she was tortured by ill health, failed romances and personal tragedy.

"I think I'm becoming fatalistic," she said in 1989. "Too much has happened in my life for me not to be fatalistic."
Her eight marriages — including two to actor Richard Burton — and a lifelong battle with substance abuse, physical ailments and overeating made Taylor as popular in supermarket tabloids as in classic film festivals.

Taylor disclosed in November 2004 that she had congestive heart failure. But she still periodically dismissed reports that she was at death's door, saying she used a wheelchair only because of chronic back problems that began at age 12 when she fell from a horse.

"Oh, come on, do I look like I'm dying?" she said in May 2006 in a rare television interview on CNN's "Larry King Live." "Do I look like or sound like I have Alzheimer's?" Tabloids report such things "because they have nothing else dirty to write about anybody else," she said.

The London-born actress was a star at age 12, a bride and a divorcee at 18, a screen goddess at 19 and a widow at 26.

She appeared in more than 50 films, and won Oscars for her performances in "Butterfield 8" (1960) and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" (1966), in which she starred opposite Burton.

In later years, she was a spokeswoman for several causes, most notably AIDS research. Her work gained her a special Oscar, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, in 1993.

As she accepted it, she told a worldwide television audience: "I call upon you to draw from the depths of your being — to prove that we are a human race, to prove that our love outweighs our need to hate, that our compassion is more compelling than our need to blame." She will Truly Be Missed

ABC Won't Press Charges Against Chris Brown

Chris Brown  is lucky that ABC does have a heart and decided not to press charges for his alleged window-smashing meltdown at "Good Morning America" Tuesday. The NYPD will not investigate the matter because there is no complaining victim.

That's especially good news for CB -- because he's currently on probation for beating up Rihanna and could have faced prison time if the judge violated his probation on grounds he committed vandalism.

We're told the judge will not violate Chris' probation unless New York prosecutes him ... and that's not going to happen.

Justin Bieber, Rihanna to be Featured on Japan Aid Album

Justin Bieber and RihannaUniversal Music Group has announced that it will be releasing a digital-only compilation album featuring some of the label's biggest stars, in an attempt to raise funds for earthquake and tsunami-stricken Japan.

Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, U2 and Bon Jovi are all expected to appear on the album, waiving their royalties so that the entire proceeds will go towards Red Cross Japan.

"We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week," a spokesperson for Universal explained. The as-yet-unfinished compilation will likely feature several other artists from the label.

Gaga and her loyal fans had raised over $250,000 already for the Japan Relief effort on there own. Singer Ne-Yo is also contributing to the country's aid by performing at several charity concerts in Japan , one of which took place Yesterday, and another on Thursday, March 24.

Chris Brown Freaks out after 'GMA' Interview, Not Happy With The Questions...

Chris Brown was pissed behind the scenes at "Good Morning America" this morning ... smashing a window and storming out without a shirt, all because of on-air questions about the Rihanna incident.

Brown performed and was interviewed by Robin Roberts live from the Times Square studio when she began asking about the infamous incident. Brown tried to redirect the questions to focus on his album -- but Roberts continued to ask about Brown's legal issues stemming from the Rihanna incident.

We're told after the interview, Brown freaked out, storming into his dressing room and screaming so loud, the people in hair and makeup became alarmed and called security.

Brown was out of control, and one source present tells us he smashed a window in his dressing room, with the chair, and the glass shattered and some shards fell onto 43rd and Broadway.

We're told by the time security rushed the area, Brown had ripped off his shirt and left the building, blowing off another performance he was supposed to do for the ABC website.

And sources say on his way out of the building, Brown confronted a segment producer, got in his face and stared him down. People from the show got in between Chris and the producer to diffuse the situation. Brown is on probation for the felony beating and he's required to obey all laws.

UPDATE 6:49 AM PT:  Brown just tweeted, "I'm so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t."

UPDATE 6:59 AM PT: Brown has already deleted the previous tweet ... and added a new one that reads, "All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I'm so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!"

Baby Pictured on Notorious B.I.G.'s 'Ready To Die' Cover Now 18 Years Old

Notorious B.I.G.'s classic debut Ready to Die is the most iconic infant in album-cover history. As the music world reflects on the 14th anniversary of Biggie's death on March 9th, many fans began inquiring about the Ready to Die kid. Diddy simply stated "That was a baby we just found... We did a little casting for somebody that looked like Big," and the Bad Boy offices had long lost any concrete form of documentation.

The 18-year-old who claims to be the mini-B.I.G.: Bronx native Keithroy Yearwood. "I just want people to know that's me. The truth is finally coming out," Yearwood told the Daily News, who corroborated his claim with Yearwood's baby photos. The story of how the teen landed on the cover also seems to match Bad Boy's assertion that the baby came from a modeling agency: Yearwood's mother Delcenia Burns says her son was recruited by the now-defunct modeling agency Chicky's Kids, and that she has the paperwork to prove it.  That Yearwood was a paid model would come as a surprise to two people involved in the shoot: Designer Cey Adams and the cover's photographer Butch Belair, both thought that the Ready to Die baby was the child of someone who worked at Bad Boy.

"When I first found out about it, it wasn't a big deal to me. Now, of course, it's a big deal to me," Yearwood, who plans to study sports management in college, said of his claim to fame. "It's an honor to be on this album."

Yearwood says he only received $150 for being on the cover of Ready to Die, but his place in music history is priceless.

Charlie Sheen, CBS In 'Two And A Half Men' Return Discussions: Report

Looks like "Two and a Half Men" may be whole again soon. Without determining who represents what fraction, NBC's Jeff Rossen is reporting that, according to a source close to Sheen, two weeks after Sheen was fired from the show, the $2 million an episode man may get his job back on the biggest sitcom on television.

"Sources close to Charlie Sheen tell NBC News, CBS has offered him his job back. Discussions ongoing. Not a done deal," Rossen said via Twitter.

Hollywoodlife.com also reports that discussions are ongoing. A show insider told the site, "The rumors are true -- CBS wants Charlie back. They saw how popular his tour has become, how it has been selling out, and when word spread that he started talking to Fox about a late-night show, some decision-makers got a little antsy."

There's an 80% chance that Sheen returns, the source told the site.

If this is all true, it's a huge turnaround for the network and Sheen, who have been at war over the last month. Sheen ripped series creator Chuck Lorre in a series of radio and television interviews, and sued for $100 million following his firing and the show's decision to shut down for the rest of the season.

Since the firing, Sheen has found new sources of income: he's working to make $1 million a year in Twitter endorsements, and he's embarking on a North American live tour, for which he'll earn $7 million.

Sheen Is Clean

Charlie Sheen may be high on something but its not Drugs... (Maybe, well we can't prove it, well...It's gotta be sometin'...right?).  Sheen and his ex, Brooke Mueller, each took drug tests back on March 11 as part of their custody settlement.  Sheen got his results back a few days ago and guess what... he passed. No word yet on Mueller's results. The drug test clears the way for Charlie to see his children again, with a monitor present.

UPDATE:  Brooke Mueller's lawyers have notified the court that they want the restraining order against Charlie Sheen to expire. The temporary restraining order prohibiting Charlie from having contact with Brooke or twins Bob and Max expires tomorrow.  Brooke had the option to seek a permanent restraining order but she will not do so because she's settled her differences with Charlie.

Comin MiLo Whhhhhhyyyy....Lindsay Lohans Father Arrested for Domestic Violence

Michael Lohan was arrested Monday night in Los Angeles on suspicion of domestic violence. MiLo's girlfriend filed a report with the L.A. County Sheriff's Department between 9:30 and 10:00 PM Monday night claiming they got into an argument that turned physical, and she had marks to prove it.

Cops later arrested him on suspicion of domestic violence. Lohan was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked for a medical condition unrelated to the alleged attack ... but afterward, he'll be taken to a Sheriff's station to be booked.

Martin Sheen: Charlie Is 'Emotionally Crippled'

Martin Sheen has had a long and well-respected career in film and television, but it hasn't always been smooth sailing for the former 'West Wing' star.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Sheen opened up about his own demons and how they've allowed him to relate to his troubled son, Charlie.

"I know what hell he's living in," says Sheen. "I've had psychotic episodes in public. One of them was on camera -- the opening scene of 'Apocalypse Now.' So I know what Charlie is going through. And when you do something like that, that is out of control, that's the most difficult thing. You have to have courage."
Martin, who battled alcohol addiction and mental illness earlier in his career, says that, much like Charlie, his issues caused him to focus on himself rather than his family.

"I was so interested in myself, I didn't really focus on what [my kids'] needs were, or what their aspirations were," says Sheen.

The actor, who stars alongside his eldest son, Emilio Estevez, in the upcoming film 'The Way,' says that despite Charlie's success, he remains emotionally stunted from his addictions.

"You know, Charlie's 45 years old. He's not a kid," says Sheen. "Emotionally he still is. Because when you're addicted, you don't grow emotionally. So when you get clean and sober you're starting at the moment you started using drugs or alcohol. You're emotionally crippled."

Adds Estevez, "We all had the same set of rules, so it really gives credence to this theory that it is genetic, and that sometimes it skips either a generation or siblings. My mother doesn't drink. My other brother hasn't had a drink in over 10 years, my dad hasn't had a drink in 20. And I make wine."

So what can save Charlie from his addiction nightmare? "Faith can help all of us," says Sheen, a devout Catholic. "Addiction is the dark side. It's a reflection of despair."

Wyclef Jean -- Shot in Haiti, Released from Hospital

Wyclef Jean was shot in the hand yesterday just outside Port-au-Prince in Haiti. He was treated at a local hospital and released. A rep for the singer said the bullet just crazed his hand and he's doing well.

The shooting comes on the eve of the presidential elections.  Wyclef was a candidate but ruled ineligible because of residency requirements. Wyclef says he had just left his car, when he heard gunfire. He says the next thing he noticed ... he saw blood on his shirt and shoes. He has no idea who fired shots or whether he was even the target.

LiLo May Be Leaning Towards Plea Deal Again That Will Include Jail Time

Lindsay Lohan may realize she can't avoid jail and is now "seriously considering" taking a plea deal. Judge Keith Schwartz offered LiLo and her attorney Shawn Holley a deal that includes three months in jail ... which get whittled down to 19 days because of jail overcrowding.

Lindsay has been adamant for weeks ... she would never take a plea deal because she feels she did nothing wrong. Sources close to Lindsay tell us she still maintains her innocence ... but reality is starting to sink in and Lindsay is beginning to understand the risks of going forward with a trial.

If she loses at trial, she could get more than a year in jail for the probation violation ... plus prison time for the felony grand theft.

If Lindsay accepts the deal, Holley must tell the judge on Wednesday.  Lindsay will be back in court Friday to either take a plea or declare war.
