Justin Bieber, Rihanna to be Featured on Japan Aid Album

Justin Bieber and RihannaUniversal Music Group has announced that it will be releasing a digital-only compilation album featuring some of the label's biggest stars, in an attempt to raise funds for earthquake and tsunami-stricken Japan.

Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, U2 and Bon Jovi are all expected to appear on the album, waiving their royalties so that the entire proceeds will go towards Red Cross Japan.

"We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week," a spokesperson for Universal explained. The as-yet-unfinished compilation will likely feature several other artists from the label.

Gaga and her loyal fans had raised over $250,000 already for the Japan Relief effort on there own. Singer Ne-Yo is also contributing to the country's aid by performing at several charity concerts in Japan , one of which took place Yesterday, and another on Thursday, March 24.
